Discretionary Use Application – Welding and Fabrication Shop, SE 22-34-5 W3

Public notice is given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Prairie Coulee No. 999 has received an application for a discretionary use under Zoning Bylaw No. 4-2014. Council will consider the application at its regular meeting on June 9, 2026, after a public hearing.

Proposed use

Home-based business, Type II – welding and fabrication shop (AR – Agricultural Resource District)

Details

The applicant proposes to operate a welding and fabrication business from an existing 40 by 60 foot shop on the farmyard, with one employee besides the applicant. All work would be done inside the shop. The applicant expects about four customer vehicles a day, Monday to Saturday.

SE 22-34-5 W3 – farmyard on the west side of Range Road 3052, about 3 km south of Township Road 342

June 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., Council Chambers, Municipal Office, 1 Main Street, Coulee Flats
